Let’s not forget this incredible holiday to give thanks for all that we have been blessed with! We are so thankful to all our wonderful customers that come near and far to support all of our small businesses here at Quechee Gorge Village. Lot’s of shops will be offering special sales during Thanksgiving Weekend and celebrating Small Business Saturday on November 25th! The Quechee State Park announced that there will be no haunted trail or train this year. The Hartford Parks and Recreation are hosting a “Trunk or Treat” from 4-6pm at the Hartford Town Hall on Saturday, October 28th.
The Vermont Toy & Train Museum has new fall hours! Friday-Saturday-Sunday-Monday 11am-5pm. Closed on Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday. Check out our vintage Halloween Costume exhibit! The museum will be closed on Friday, October 27th. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The leaves are starting to turn color and we’re getting ready for our 22nd Annual Antiques Festival being held on Columbus Day Weekend, October 7-8-9, 2017! Quechee Gorge Village is one of the most beautiful locations in New England and as a major destination, tens of thousands of customers come to shop, sample, dine, and play during this festive weekend! The festival hosts many antique dealers from around the country where you are sure to find many treasures for your home, family and friends! This is a great weekend to enjoy everything trains! After visiting the Glory Days of the Railroad, follow Route 4 (Woodstock Railway) to Quechee Gorge Village and ride our miniature passenger train (weather permitting)! Then visit The Vermont Toy & Train Museum which hosts our 4 season train layout built by Dave Frary of Rutland, Vermont – an amazing interactive train layout! The train is $4/pp, carousel $2/pp or our value pass $10 for two train and two carousel rides. Admission for the museum is $3/pp or our group rate of $5 for 2-5 people per group. 2 and under are FREE! Seasonal rides are weekend’s only through Columbus Day (weather permitting).
The Quechee Gorge Village shops are open daily 9:30am – 5:30pm including Monday, September 4th.
The train and carousel will be operating as follows: Saturday noon – 5pm, Sunday noon – 3:30pm, and
Monday 11:00am – 5:30pm (weather permitting).
Flea Market Sunday 6:00am – 4:00pm.
