It still feels like winter here at Quechee Gorge Village with new snowfall and cold temperatures nipping at our toes! We’re going to celebrate this new season with a new event! Come join The Vermont Antique Mall on April 25th from 5pm-7pm to meet our antique dealers and enjoy after hours shopping! You can relax and enjoy Putney wine, Cabot cheese, and fudge while browsing through the mall, Cabot, The Vermont Spot and Quechee Home! We look forward to seeing you and experience the warmth of Spring inside our beautiful stores!
It’s finally starting to feel like Spring here in Quechee, Vermont! Warmer days, birds chirping, snow melting, and new merchandise arriving daily in all our fine shops! Quechee Gorge Village will be CLOSED Easter Sunday, April 1st. We look forward to an exciting 2018 season celebrating 30 years of ownership! Wishing you and your families a wonderful Easter!
It is hard to believe that 30 years ago in 1988, Gary and Robin Neil, bought Quechee Gorge Village formerly known as Timber Village which hosted a country store, Lumberjack Museum, antique mall, restaurant, and apparel on the second floor along with the original steam engine train ride!
Both having worked in the Fortune 500 computer industry for a number of years and living in Los Angeles with three young boys, it was time for a change.
With their passion, vision, and corporate experience in sales & marketing, this dynamic couple has transformed Quechee Gorge Village into a multiple award winning shopping and dining attraction with over 550,000 visitors a year.
In recognition of 30 years of ownership you will see lots of new and exciting things happening in 2018 on the property. Gary and Robin welcome you to celebrate this milestone with them and the shop owners that make Quechee Gorge Village a magical experience for all to enjoy!

We want to thank all our customers for making 2017 at Quechee Gorge Village so successful! There is something for everyone here from cards, to artisans, free tastings, live alpacas, spirits, wines, cheeses, jewelry, toys, antiques, soaps, housewares, clothing, and more all in one location! We look forward to serving you in this new year with new and exciting additions to the property.
The Vermont Toy & Train Museum will be closed January – April for renovations, new exhibits and expanded retail toy store!
Quechee Gorge Village is open daily from 9:30am -5:30pm. Please check our website and Facebook pages for updates on closings due to the weather and hours.

Enjoy the 4 season interactive train layout built by Dave Frary of Rutland, Vermont which is truly amazing! Lots of shops, lots of tastings, and lots of FUN! We are open 9:30am – 5:30pm through December 31st, closed New Year’s Day then open regular business hours January 2nd onward! Thank you for supporting our many small businesses and shopping local!
