consignment program. This program is set
up to make it easy for you to sell 1 or
more items at our fabulous Antique Mall.
Use the information below to help you
become a seller!
What Sells?
Glass, China, Kitchen Items, Linens,
Jewelry, Paintings, Art, Personal Items,
Postcards, Photos,
Books, Advertising, Paper, Compacts,
Dolls, Old Toys, Fishing/Sports,
Figurines, Decorator, Household, Tools,
Pottery, Furniture, Pictures, Silver
& Plated Collections.
Just about anything that is old. It is
amazing what people collect. Don't throw
away anything without first consulting
with us. This list is just a few things
that today's collectors are looking for.
The high-end items always sell. Items
that are rare and were expensive when
made, usually hold their value. Although,
low cost household also sell, as long as
they are in clean and near mint
condition. Today's collector's have money
and are willing to buy the best. They
want 100-year-old antiques that are
better than perfect. They are picky and
willing to pay the price to be. Chipped,
cracked, tarnished and dirty will not
sell at any price. Therefore, to command
the best price for your things, they must
be spotless in mint condition. Price and
condition are always related.
You will get 60% of the selling price of
your consignments. We price items fair
for both the buyer and the seller. Items
are sold the best way possible. It may be
from our locked cases, floor display or
on the internet. We want you to realize
the most for your items. We cherish the
trust you have bestowed upon us to act as
your agent and respect that trust. We
have been in business for over 20 years
and have many satisfied customers.
All items should be freshly washed or
cleaned. If it is necessary for us to
clean things, there will be a 10%
commission fee for cleaning. We will
discuss with you the price that your
items are likely to sell. However,
research is often required to establish a
fair market price. We are experienced in
pricing items at fair market value for
you. You may want to inventory the items,
as it is not always possible for us to go
over your consignments at the time you
bring them in. We will inventory and
price as soon as possible and call you to
pick up the items we can't accept. You
may stop by later and pick up a copy of
the inventory we have prepared for you.
If you are not sure how to clean it,
please ask. We can advise you on how best
to clean most everything. However, some
things should never be cleaned. Discuss
cleaning with us before taking a chance.
Cleaning of some items can damage and
destroy the patina.
We are anxious to help you to dispose of
your precious family heirlooms and
unwanted items. However, we caution you
to consult with those who might have an
interest in your estate. We realize that
too much is too much. We have seen things
come into the store, before the children
or grandchildren know that something is
leaving the family. They are often
crushed by the loss of the family
heirloom. We would like to avoid being in
the middle of a family argument. However,
we do know what a treasure it is to have
something from a family member. Once an
item leaves the family, it is gone
forever.
